The system supports Android and iOS (Apple) phones.
Employees can install the app while providing minimal permissions. The only permissions obtained are to block the camera, to share the device’s location, and to communicate online with the management site.
Security is our specialty. Our app relies on the operating system’s camera-blocking functionality and therefore, it doesn’t require authorization to actually access the camera. The app can block or allow the camera but it cannot access it.
We have been developing secure cellular solutions for 10 years. Our camera-blocking Android apps have been downloaded about 400,000 times. Its users include a number of large organizations and the reviews for the app are excellent.
The user will not notice the presence of the Guardev app. The app has no user interface apart from a notification which displays the camera status. The app operates completely in the background and draws almost no power from the battery.
